It’s Showtime Folks!
Tickets are now available for purchase. $10 for
adults and $5 for students ages 12 and under. Each family will
receive 1 complimentary ticket. Tickets will be on sale also the
day of rehearsal and at the door.
Rehearsal will be Saturday May 30th
at St. Albans High School Auditorium starting at 2pm, please arrive
by 1:30 in order to begin at 2.
The show is Sunday May 31st at St.
Albans High School Auditorium with a 2pm show start time. Dancers
need to be there by 1pm.
All dancers, parents and family MUST enter from
the main glass doors of the school. NO SIDE DOOR ENTRIES! Please
respect this.
Refreshments will be available both Saturday and
Sunday by the St. Albans High School Color Guard. Please help
support this group and have lunch at the school!
RM Productions will be moving at the end of the
summer to our new location, the Old Staunton Elementary building
beside of Marshall Grad School. The facility also houses a
tumble/cheer group, jazzercise, daycare and a variety of other
businesses. It’s a great location and we are very excited to move to
our new home!!!
DVD’s are on sale now! Please complete a form
and submit up through the show for a copy. VMI is doing the work
this year and they are the best!!!!!!!!! Cost is $35 a piece
payable to RM Productions! This recording is very professional with
all audience noise removed, much better quality than last year!
Pre-registration for Summer and Fall Classes:
Forms are now available at the studio/recital as well as online
registration. There will be 2 summer sessions and Fall Classes will
begin the first full week after Labor Day, September 14th.

accepted to Marshall University’s graduate school!!!
Each instructor will give you information on
tights, hair, makeup and shoes but here are a few general points for
everyone to remember:
- No holes or runs in
tights. Please purchase as your instructor has instructed you to
do.
- No underwear is to be
worn under the tights. This is a standard in dance.
- No bangs in the face.
- Stage makeup is to be
worn so that the stage lights do not wash the face out.
- No extra hair clips,
headbands, bows unless everyone has the same thing.
- No jewelry unless it is
part of the costume.
- No fingernail polish
unless it is clear or French manicure.
- No flash photography.
- Please be respectful to
the performers. There are many levels of dancers and each has
worked very hard to prepare a show for you.
- For finale, please wear
the recital shirt or the last costume worn.
- No costumes are to be
visible coming into the theatre or in the theatre. When not in
the back stage area, costumes must be completely concealed.
- No gum or candy. Only
water in the back stage area to avoid staining the costumes.
- If you are not assigned
as a backstage “mom” then you must not enter the backstage area
except for before the show and during intermission. Please
respect this!
- All black paten tap shoes
must have elastic sewn in them instead of the black ribbons.
- The house seating area
will open at 1pm. Do not enter until then. Do not sneak in
the doors being used by the videographers. Please be respectful
of the set up process.
- All cell phones are to be
turned off or put on silent. Do not have a phone conversation
while in the audience.
- Do not enter or exit the
house seating area unless it is in between a number. Leaving
during a number is not respectful to the dancers.
- Be sure at the end of the
day, that everyone assists in cleaning up the dressing areas
before leaving for the day.
