RECITAL EDITION
Recital Shirts! It’s
not too late to order your recital shirt! Please contact Rose or
complete a form and place it with payment in the payment box!
DVD order forms are
available. Please order your recital DVD today. See your teacher or
Rose for the form and information. You can order through the recital
date. VMI will be doing the DVD’s again this year but you will need
to order through the studio.
Recital Rehearsal is
set for Saturday May 22nd at 1pm.
This is NOT a dress rehearsal. Your instructor may ask you to wear
headpieces or have props to practice with. Please check with your
instructor. Report to the audience for instructions first.
Recital is Sunday
May 23rd starting at 3pm. Dancers in the first act need to be at
the theatre by 2pm. All spectators, family members and dancers need
to enter from the front main glass doors of St. Albans High School.
Dancers are to report directly to his/her dressing room. Please
cover all costumes, do not wear them without a cover up.
Tickets
are now on sale. Each
family will receive 1 comp ticket. $10 for adults/$5 for children 12
and under.
Please be sure to check
with your instructor concerning tights, shoes, hair and makeup. All
students need to wear the assigned tights, makeup and hair style.
With the bright stage lights, the makeup is required so the face can
be seen and does not fade into the background.
All accounts must be up
to date with no remaining balances before May 23, 2010.
Pictures will be coming
soon. Look for info. For all students, even if you do not want
individual pictures we want all the dancers on our composite so you
need to at least have your composite and group shot. I encourage all
of you to do dance portraits. It is a wonderful memory and a
fantastic deal.
